Derry Church School
Built in 1844. Site known as Meeting House Land purchaced from neighboring church. Milton s. Hershey attended during the winter of 1863-64 when he wqas 6 years of age. The teacher was his twenty-two year old uncle, Elias Hershey, who received a monthly salery of $25.75. Purchaced by Milton S. Hershey in 1904 along with adjoining land where his home now stands. School restored to present condition by students and instructor of Milton Hershey School, Founded in 1909.
